42nd ANNUAL MEETING OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LINGUISTICS
School of Philology
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
6-8, 2022The Department of Linguistics (School of Philology) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is pleased to announce the 42nd Annual Meeting to be held on May 6-8, 2022.
The Meeting welcomes high-quality and original contributions which explore any area of linguistic analysis (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics and discourse analysis). Papers that explore typological issues from the perspective of computational and statistical methods of language analysis are particularly welcome for the special themed session on "Language Typology".
The high interest for this year’s meeting in combination with the limited sitting capacity of the venue and the covid-19 restrictions that are still in effect have led us to the difficult decision to host a virtual-only conference this year.
Plenary speakers
Elena Anagnostopoulou (University of Crete)
Ioanna Kappa (University of Crete)
Dimitra Melissaropoulou (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki)
Stavros Skopeteas (University of Göttingen)
